forScore Custom Jazz Stamps... with added trumpet influence ;)

My modest collection of Custom Jazz Stamps has grown from 39 to over 240, thanks to requests from forScore users and a few new ideas of my own.

This collection provides a comprehensive alternative to the default stamps included with forScore. I prefer using these over traditional annotations because the Jazz fonts feel friendlier and are easier on the eyes. They also stand out more, making them easier to spot while playing.

Currently, I use about a quarter of these stamps. The courtesy accidentals, articulations, dynamics, trumpet mutes, and the “circle” are my go-to choices, especially when colored red or bright green in forScore. Cues like “Strings” and “Drums” are really useful too, particularly when counting long rests in musical theatre scores.

The rest of the stamps are included for completeness and to meet any bespoke needs you might have. Honestly, I can’t imagine what else could possibly be added—except perhaps alto clef (no!!!). I'll be really disappointed if I ever hear that someone used the C-flat.

For guidance on importing and using these stamps, check out the instructions in the forScore User Guide: https://forscore.co/documentation/annotation/
